Privacy Policy – Mantra Japa Counter

This privacy policy applies to the Mantra Japa Counter Android app by KTL Tech Hub. Other apps may publish their own policies when released. Review this page before submitting or updating the app on Google Play.
1. Information we collect
Optional Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID, used only to identify your account and show your profile in the app. Sign-in is not required to use the counter.
Data on your device: your counts, rounds, streaks, badges, history, custom mantras, language, theme and reminder settings are stored locally on your device. We do not upload them to our servers.
Purchases: subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your card or bank details. We only receive purchase status (e.g. active subscription) from Google Play to unlock premium features.
2. Reminders and notifications
If you turn on daily reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. You can turn them off in the app or in Android settings. Reminder times are not sent to us.
3. How we use information
Only to provide app features, verify premium access and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. The app currently contains no ads and no third-party analytics.
4. Sharing
We share data only with Google as needed for sign-in and Google Play Billing (governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy), or when required by law.
5. Security and retention
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Local data stays on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Account details are kept only while you use the sign-in feature.
6. Deleting your data
You can delete local data by clearing app data or uninstalling. To delete any data linked to your Google sign-in, email ktltechhub@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" from your signed-in email; we will process it within 30 days. You can also remove the app's access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Cancel subscriptions in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions.
7. Children
The app is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
